Questions about LMCS organisation

Are you a church organisation?

No. We are not affiliated with any church or religious organisation. Our purpose is to help London's homeless physically, not spiritually. We sometimes work with local churches, as they are often very supportive of the work that we do.

Are you a proper registered charity?

Yes, we are a registered charity, number 1076876.

In common with many other charities, we are also a limited company (this makes it easier for charity administration).

In legal terms, we are a charitable company limited by guarantee, incorporated on 27 May 1999 and registered as a charity on 3 August 1999. The company was established under a Memorandum of Association which established the objects and powers of the charitable company and is governed under its Articles of Association.
